PhotoClimateVision is a proposal to organise a photography festival focusing on climate change, which attempts to explain how it is perceived in the cities we live in. The aim of the proposal is: 1) to highlight climate challenges through an artistic journey starting from the target group members’ regions of origin and ending in the neighbourhoods of the cities they live in, in order to present what fascinates, moves and unites them in relation to climate and 2) to promote good practice in the integration of refugees/ migrants at the local level in the light of climate change. The aim of PhotoClimateVision is to combine artistic expression with the dissemination of scientifically reliable information and awareness raising of members of the target groups on climate action. The target groups of the educational scientific and artistic actions are refugees/migrants and active citizens.

The project “PhotoClimateVision” is part of Priority Axis 4: “INNOVATIVE ACTIONS WITH CITIZENS” of the funding programme “NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND NORMAL ACTIONS 2023”, with a total budget of 50.000,00 Euro. Funding: Green Fund. The beneficiary of the project is the Institute for Diversity and Inclusion.
