Summary

The project entitled: “Acting for Diversity” with the Diversity & Inclusion Institute (D&I) as beneficiary and the Municipality of Rafina – Pikermi Attica as partner, is funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EFA). EEA), for the period 2014-2021, and falls under the project entitled “Small Grant Scheme – Improved Strategic Planning and Emergency Response” of the Programme “Capacity Building of National Asylum and Migration Management Systems” (Capacity Building of National Asylum and Migration Management Systems).

The aim of the ‘Acting for diversity’ project is:

  • The integration of unaccompanied refugee minors into Greek society through education and theatre arts
  • The sensitization and training of the employees of the Municipality of Rafina-Pikermi in order to treat unaccompanied refugee minors with sensitivity and without prejudice
  • The participation of the local community through the creation of an intercultural theatrical performance
The project entitled: “Acting for Diversity ” is part of the project entitled ” Small Grant Scheme – Improved Strategic Planning and Emergency Response ” of the Programme ” Development of the Management Capacities of National Asylum and Migration Systems “, with a total budget of EUR 200.000,0. Funding: the European Economic AreaFinancial Mechanism (EEAFinancial Mechanism ) for the period 2014-2021. The beneficiary of the project is the Institute for Diversity and Inclusion.
